Background

Golfers wrote scores on paper cards during a round and had to look up course information separately. They needed an app usable directly on the course.

Technical decisions

What we chose, and why it fit

Built natively per platform — SwiftUI for iOS, Jetpack Compose for Android

Many courses had poor cell signal, so offline entry with later sync was important, and relying on platform-native capabilities for this was more reliable. Building separately per platform instead of cross-platform let us verify offline behavior more thoroughly.
